Bone Necklace

This is an unusal and unique necklace due to it's background. Let me explain.
I was contacted through this website by a lady who lives in Ontario Canada . She was searching for someone to make a bone necklace.on my wedsite it listed "bone" as one of the meterials that I use. Her Border Collie "NANI" passed away and she wanted to memorialize NANI in such a way as to always have her with her.
After several phone coversations we arrived at a plan. She had retrieved the tail bones from the mortuary and shipped them to me.
After cleaning,bleaching, disenfecting,sealing drilling holes I had designed the necklace.
As you can see from the necklace there are"faceted" black onyx stones as spacers between the bones and on either side to complete the necklace. There are 13 stones on either side to represent the 13 years of love and compainship that NANI shared with her master.
Now she can wear NANI around her neck and near her heart as a reminder of the 13 years they shared
